HOUSTON – The Oklahoma baseball team fell to No. 11 Tennessee 8-0 Sunday afternoon in the Shriners Children's College Classic at Minute Maid Park.
Tanner Tredaway went 2 for 4 with a single and a ninth inning triple, accounting for two of OU's five hits in the game.

Jimmy Crooks and
Peyton Graham also singled for the Sooners (5-5).
The Volunteers (10-1) scored in the first inning on a solo home run by Jordan Beck, then added a run in the second, three in the third inning and one in the fifth. Christian Moore hit a two-run inside the park home run in the third, and Blake Burke hit a solo homer in the two-run eighth inning.
Oklahoma was unable to string together its hits, which were scattered throughout the game. Robertson smacked a two-out single up the middle in the first inning.
Jimmy Crooks went the other way with a one-out single to left in the fifth inning. Tredaway hit a leadoff single to left in the seventh inning and
Peyton Graham singled to deep short with one out in the eighth. Tredaway's triple led off the bottom of the ninth, and he was the only OU baserunner to reach third on Sunday.
Starter
Chazz Martinez (1-1) went 3.2 innings in the loss.
Ben Abram pitched 2.0 scoreless innings in relief, working around two hits and recording a strikeout.
Griffin Miller was perfect in the ninth inning, notching one strikeout. Tennessee starter Drew Beam (2-0) pitched 5.0 innings and earned the win.
Oklahoma returns home for a nine-game home stand at L. Dale Mitchell Park, beginning Tuesday against Dallas Baptist. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
