MESA, Ariz. – Hannah Screen recorded her second top-15 finish of the spring and Oklahoma women's golf finished the Clover Cup ninth at Longbow Golf Club.
Screen opened the day with a par and dropped back-to-back birdies on the eighth and ninth holes. She finished the back nine 2-over 38 and responded with a pair of birdies on the first and third holes to move back to 2-under. A double bogy on the fifth dropped her back to even and the Screen finished tournament with a 4-under 212.
Libby Winans tied Screen with the best round of the day and finished with an even-par 72. Winans recorded three birdies on the back nine and finished the tournament tied for 53rd (10-over 226).
Mikhaela Fortuna recorded the second-best finish by a Sooner and concluded the tournament 4-over 220. She finished the day with a 2-over 74.
Meagan Winans (8-over 224) and Kaylee Vesely (24-over 240) rounded out the OU lineup.
Maria Fernanda Martinez, Oklahoma's lone individual in the field, finished tied for 55th (12-over 228).
