OU Falls at Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — The Oklahoma men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Tulsa, Sunday afternoon.
The Sooners began the day taking the doubles point with victories on courts one and three. No. 69 Alex Martinez and Welsh Hotard continued their impressive run as a pair, notching their 11th win at the No. 1 spot, with a quick 6-1 victory over Connor Di Marco and Kody Pearson. Nathan Han and Mason Beiler clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win over Stefan Hampe and Ezequiel Santalla on court three.
When play was halted, No. 64 Mark Mandlik and Baptiste Anselmo were tied at 6-all against Daniel Siddall and Tom Thelwall-Jones on court two.
In singles, No. 68 Martinez fell to No. 43 Pearson 6-3, 6-0 on court one. Han fell to Callum Gale 6-4, 6-3 on court six. No. 108 Jordan Hasson dropped set one, 6-1, but fought back and claimed the second set, 6-2, before falling in the final set, 6-2, against Hampe at the third spot. No. 45 Beiler fell on court two to Santalla, 6-3, 7-5. No. 64 Mandlik and Justin Schlageter took their matches to three sets but fell in the end. Schlageter fell on court five to Di Marco, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, while Mandlik fell on court four to Adham Gaber 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
