NORMAN – Oklahoma (14-13, 4-10 Big 12) continues its two-game road swing at No. 11 Texas Tech (21-6, 10-4 Big 12) Tuesday, Feb. 22.
The Sooners won the first meetings between the two schools 70-55 at Lloyd Noble Center Feb. 9.
Umoja Gibson tallied his first 30 point game in the Crimson and Cream and tied a career-high eight 3-pointers. Gibson finished 9-for-14 from the field and added five rebounds and a steal.
Elijah Harkless and Jordan Goldwire each finished in double figures with the trio of guards accounting for 53 of OU's 70 points. Harkless tallied 13 points, three rebounds and two steals, while Goldwire added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Oklahoma entered halftime with a five-point deficit and rallied in the second, scoring 45 points on the tough Texas Tech defense. Gibson and Harkless combined for 28 points in the final 20 minutes and finished 8-for-11 from the field and 7-for-8 from three.

SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
- Texas Tech (21-6, 10-4 Big 12) is in its first season with Mark Adams at the helm and are tied for second in the Big 12 standings. The Red Raiders topped No. 20 Texas Saturday, Feb. 19, completing the sweep of the Longhorns and former coach Chris Beard.
- Four Red Raiders average double-figure points and are led by Bryson Williams' 13.7 points per game. Terrence Shannon Jr. adds 11.4 points per contest, Kevin McCullar 10.8 and Kevin Obanor 10.2. McCullar is Texas Tech's team leader in rebounds (5.3 RPG) and assists (3.2).
- Texas Tech is 10th nationally in field goal percentage defense (38.2), 12th in free throw attempts (586), 12th in scoring margin (12.6), 15th in scoring defense (61.1), 22nd free throws made (410) and 23rd in turnovers forced (16.1).
OKLAHOMA VS. TEXAS TECH TIDBITS
- Texas Tech and Oklahoma will meet for the 69th time and Texas Tech holds a 18-14 advantage in games played in Lubbock, Texas. The first meeting between the two programs was in the All-College Tournament in Oklahoma City during the 1944-45 season. OU won 61-31.
- In the Jan. 26, 2016 meeting between OU and TTU, Oklahoma amassed a program-record 14 blocks, tying the mark set against Texas in 1990.
- Oklahoma's Blake Griffin corralled 23 boards against the Red Raiders Feb. 14, 2009 and tied a Lloyd Noble Center record set by Harvey Grant and later tied by Stacey King. Griffin also led Oklahoma with 40 points and was the first player in Big 12 history with a 40 point and 20 rebound game.
- The 2009 meeting between the two programs at Lloyd Noble Center was the third largest paid crowd in program history and LNC welcomed 13,245 fans. OU won the contest 95-74.
- David Little, Oklahoma's 27th all-time leading scorer with 1,229 points, transferred to Oklahoma from Texas Tech. Little was named 1982 Big Eight Newcomer of the Year and was selected in the 1983 NBA Draft (61st) by the Denver Nuggets.
MOSER VS. AP TOP 15 TEAMS
- Porter Moser earned his fourth victory over an opponent ranked in the top 15 of the AP Poll Feb. 9, beating No. 9 Texas Tech 70-55 at Lloyd Noble Center. Moser is the first Oklahoma coach to have three AP top 15 victories in his first 15 games and four victories in his first season. Kelvin Sampson (1994-95) earned three victories against teams ranked in the top 15 and tallied five top 25 wins. The 1994-95 squad finished 23-9 overall and made the NCAA Tournament.
