NORMAN – The Oklahoma baseball team is two-and-a-half weeks from the start of the season. The fourth edition of Around the Bases, highlighting OU's newcomers, features freshman pitcher Aaron Calhoun, freshman outfielder/pitcher Brayden Luikart and redshirt sophomore pitcher Creed Watkins.

First Base: Aaron Calhoun - Fr. - RHP
What is one unique fact about you?
I can keep re-watching Grey's Anatomy.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza … it has to have red sauce, cheese, hamburger, sausage, bacon and cheese on top.
What is your favorite sports moment you have been a part of or witnessed?
Winning the district championship my senior year.
What is your favorite thing to eat before a game?
Fruit snacks.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation, because it would get me places faster.
Second Base: Brayden Luikart - Fr. - OF/LHP
What are some of your interests outside of baseball?
I like to hunt and fish.
What is your favorite sports moment you have been a part of or witnessed?
Going to the state baseball tournament for the first time in school history.
What is your favorite sport besides baseball?
College football because each game matters and each game is very interesting.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Derek Jeter. He was a flat-out winner. He did things the right way and was a leader on and off the field.
What is one unique fact about you?
I like to study the stock market.
Third Base: Creed Watkins - R-So. - RHP
What is one thing you have learned since coming to OU?
OU is extremely devoted to player development.
What would be your dream career, aside from baseball?
I would like to be a sports psychologist.
Who is your favorite athlete?
My favorite athlete of all time is Max Scherzer. He works harder than everybody, competes harder than everybody, and had the most tenacity on the field at all times.
Who would you like to play you in a movie about your life?
Ryan Reynolds. I just think he's hilarious.
If you could listen to only three musical artists for the rest of your life, who would they be?
Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Frank Ocean. I love their music.

Why did you choose to attend OU?
Calhoun: The coaching staff.
Luikart: I chose OU because of the great baseball program, and great academics. It has felt like a family atmosphere from day one. I love the city of Norman and the campus.
Watkins: Dream school and wanted to be coached by the best in the nation.
