NORMAN – The Oklahoma volleyball team will be hosting Alumni Weekend against Iowa State at 6 p.m. Saturday inside McCasland Field House. This week we will feature top alumni returning to Norman for this weekend's festivities.
We continue our Alumni Spotlight features for this week with Caitlin Higgins Naulu. The 2008 All-Big 12 Freshman Team honoree has the fifth-best record in program history for season aces with 30 in 2008. She is also ninth in the record books in career digs (1,169 in 2008-11) and 11th-best in program history for career total attempts (3,202 in 2008-11).
Higgins Naulu also helped the Sooners reach their third Sweet Sixteen in program history during the 2010 NCAA Tournament, while also excelling in the classroom, earning two CoSIDA Academic All-District Third Team honors and three Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors.

Why did you choose OU?
I loved the beautiful campus, the college town vibe, and the volleyball team felt like family right away.
What is your best memory at OU?
My best memories were playing Penn State in the Sweet Sixteen in 2010 and beating Texas my freshman and senior years.
What do you miss most from your time at OU?
I miss the sisterhood with my teammates and just being a college student!
How did OU prepare you to be successful after your volleyball career?
As a student-athlete, I was able to learn excellent time management and adaptability skills, which has been very important in my career.
