Diouf, Kinley Earn All-Big 12 Honors

NORMAN – Oklahoma volleyball's Guewe Diouf and Keyton Kinley have been named to the 2020 All-Big 12 teams, the conference announced Thursday.

Kinley was named to the All-Big 12 second team, earning her third career All-Big 12 recognition. The senior from Lexington, Ky., ranked fourth in the conference with 3.91 digs per set and seventh with 261 total digs. Additionally, Kinley notched 64 assists and nine service aces. Kinley tallied double-digit digs in 14 of 18 matches, including eight with at least 15 digs.

Diouf was a unanimous all-rookie team selection and garnered first team honors in her first season with the Sooners. The freshman notched double-digit kills in 16 of 18 matches, including a streak of 10 straight in double-digits. Diouf also tallied at least 20 kills in five matches with a career-high of 28 on Nov. 20 against West Virginia.

The Marignane, France, native ranks fifth in the conference with 287 total kills and third with 4.48 kills per set. Additionally, Diouf added 13 service aces and ranked second on the team with 109 digs. The freshman also notched four double-doubles this season and tallied a career-high 15 digs against Kansas.

Under head coach Lindsey Gray-Walton, the Sooners have now garnered 11 total All-Big 12 awards in the last three seasons.
