First Pitch:
• Oklahoma (14-14, 1-5 Big 12) plays host to Kansas (17-11, 1-5 Big 12) in a three-game Big 12 conference this weekend at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Game times are 6:30 p.m. Friday, 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
• The Sooners continue their nine-game homestand with six more home contests at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Following the weekend series, OU will host Texas Southern on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 13-14). Game time is 4 p.m. for both contests.

• Oklahoma's next victory will be its 100th under head coach Skip Johnson. Johnson is poised to become the eighth OU skipper to register 100 victories at the school. The Sooners currently have a .600 winning percentage under Johnson.
• Oklahoma ranks fifth nationally in hits (292) and doubles (61), seventh in walks (158), 11th in runs (214), 19th in OBP (.405) and 22nd in batting average (.296) through its 28 games.
• OU ranks fifth nationally and tied for first among Big 12 schools with its 61 doubles this season (2.2 per game), and has registered 43 doubles in its last 17 outings (average of 2.5 per game). The national leader in doubles per game (San Diego) averages 2.7 per game. The Sooners registered a season-high nine doubles against Houston on March 20.
• Thirty-three percent of Oklahoma's hits (95 of 292) have gone for extra bases. The Sooners have totaled 61 doubles, five triples and 29 home runs in 28 games, an average of 3.4 extra base hits per contest.
• OU leads the Big 12 in doubles and doubles per game (2.18), ranks second in hits, batting average, and strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.53), third in base on balls (158), runs, scoring (7.6 runs per game), OBP (.405) and sacrifice flies (14). The Sooners also rank fourth in the Big 12 and 39th nationally by averaging 10.1 strikeouts per nine innings.
• OU has scored at least seven runs in 15 games this season (averaging 7.6 runs per game overall), and notched double-digit hits in 13 games.

• Oklahoma and Kansas have played 218 times. OU leads the series 140-77-1.
• The Sooners have won five straight against the Jayhawks, including a three-game sweep in Norman during the 2019 season.
• Since 2010, OU is 24-8 against Kansas, including a 12-3 mark in Norman.

About the Sooners:
• Tyler Hardman continues to lead the nation in hits (52) and also ranks first nationally in total bases (87). He ranks 10th nationally in OBP (.562; first in Big 12) and batting average (.468; first in Big 12), 11th in runs scored (32) and 16th in walks (23).
• Hardman has notched at least two hits in four straight games and in six of his last seven contests (and seven of last nine). He leads the Sooners with 18 multiple hit games, has a hit in his last nine games, and has recorded a hit in 25 of OU's 28 contests this season. He ranks sixth nationally and leads the Big 12 with his 1.86 hits-per-game average (national leaders Andrew Ciufo and Conor Nolan of Georgetown average 2.00 hits per game).
• In his last four games, Hardman is 8 for 16 (2 for 4 in each contest) with eight RBIs, five runs scored, two doubles and three home runs.
• Brett Squires went 2 for 4 with four RBIs on Tuesday against Oral Roberts. He is 4 for his last 10 (over three games) with five RBIs, three runs scored and his first two homers of the season. Nine of his 14 hits this season have gone for extra bases (six doubles, one triple, two home runs).
• Diego Muniz ranks second on the team in batting average (.359; 23 for 64). He has a hit in each of OU's last five games (started all five), and has batted .412 (7 for 17) with four RBIs and four runs scored in that span.
• Jason Ruffcorn earned his second save of the season Tuesday against Oral Roberts. He is 2-0 with a 0.57 ERA (one run allowed), 24 strikeouts and five walks in 15.2 innings across 12 relief appearances so far this season.
• Christian Ruebeck tossed 1.1 scoreless innings in the series against TCU, striking out the side in the ninth inning on Saturday.
• Peyton Graham has reached base safely in 24 consecutive games and has registered a hit in 13 of his last 17 contests.
• Conor McKenna lead the Sooners with 10 multiple RBI games while Hardman has nine games with multiple RBIs. McKenna and Hardman have each registered a team-high 30 RBIs (1.1 per game), while Brandon Zaragoza (23 RBIs, 0.82 per game) and Tanner Tredaway (21 RBIs, 0.75 per game) are averaging just under one RBI per team game played.
• Zaragoza has already registered 23 RBIs on the season. His career high prior to this year was 30 RBIs in 2019.
• OU is in its fourth season under the direction of head coach Skip Johnson. Johnson has led the Sooners to an 99-66 record and an NCAA postseason appearance in 2018.
• The Sooners have played eight contests against ranked opponents so far this season and are 3-5 in such games. One-third of OU's games have been against ranked opponents at the time they played.
