NORMAN – The No. 32 Oklahoma women's tennis team will look for its fifth straight win on Saturday as the Sooners host Wichita State on Saturday at noon.
OU (7-2) enters the match off a pair of wins last weekend against No. 29 Texas Tech (5-2) and Tulsa (5-2). OU moved up a spot to No. 32 in the most recent ITA team rankings following those victories.
Freshman
Dana Guzman was named Big 12 Player of the week as she went undefeated in singles and doubles across both contests, notching her first win over a ranked player against Texas Tech and clinching the win at Tulsa in a comeback three-setter.
Wichita State comes into Saturday's matchup at 4-11 on the year. The Shockers shut out North Texas 4-0 in their most recent match. OU last met Wichita State on April 6, 2019 in Wichita, where the Sooners prevailed 4-3.

OU Athletics has announced that fans will not be admitted for 2021 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center due to limited seating capacity related to COVID-19 precautions. Home and visitor student-athletes will receive a limited number of complimentary tickets on a pass-list basis.
