STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma women's basketball team fell to Oklahoma State 91-64 Saturday in the second game of the 2020-21 Bedlam Series.
"Credit Oklahoma State. I think they're the hottest team in the league right now," said OU head coach
Sherri Coale. "We just got caught halfway. There wasn't a lot we could do about some of that stuff and the things we could do something about, we didn't do a great job of … We've just got to get back at it and try to keep getting better."
OU (6-9, 3-7 Big 12) shot just 37.9% (22-for-38) from the floor in the loss.
Madi Williams led the way for the Sooners with a game-high 29 points and was just shy of a double-double as she collected nine rebounds.
Williams was the only player in double figures, marking the first time since Feb. 16, 2019 that only one Sooner did so.
Taylor Robertson and
Gabby Gregory each scored nine points with Robertson hitting three triples in the contest.
Tatum Veitenheimer and
Skylar Vann both scored six. Freshman
Nevaeh Tot nearly stuffed the stat sheet as she added five points, four rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
Oklahoma State shot 52.2% for the contest as five players scored in double figures Natasha Mack logged a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds while adding five blocks and five assists.
