NORMAN – Oklahoma (5-1, 0-0 Big 12) competes in its first true road game of the season in Orlando against UCF (4-0, 0-0 American) Saturday, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. (CT) in Addition Financial Arena.

The Sooners last played Wednesday and beat Houston Baptist 57-40 behind a second-half surge. OU opened the second frame against the Huskies on a 18-0 run and hold HBU to only 18.5% shooting from the field in the half.

Elijah Harkless led OU with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Jordan Goldwire pitched in 11 points.

Saturday's game will be available on ESPN+ with Austin Lynn, Michael O'Donnell and Salena Roche on the call.

SERIES HISTORY

Oklahoma and UCF will play for the second time. Oklahoma played UCF in 2019 and earned the 53-52 victory over the Knights.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS

UCF is 4-0 to start the year and are coached by Johnny Dawkins in his sixth year.
The Knights opened the season with a 69-59 victory over Robert Morris (11/10) and beat in-state foe Miami 95-89 (11/13). UCF continued to clash with in-state teams when it beat Jacksonville 63-54 (11/16). The Knights last competed Nov. 20 at Evansville, handing the Purple Aces a 75-59 loss.
Darin Green Jr. is the Knight's leading scorer and averages 16.3 points per game. Green Jr. logged a season-high 23 points in UCF's victory over Miami. In the Knight's last contest, Green Jr. tallied a team-high 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting from the field and 3-for-6 from 3-point range.
C.J. Walker boasts a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game and Darius Perry averages a team-high 4.5 assists per contest.
Green Jr., Perry and Cheikh Mbacke Diong have started all four games for UCF, while Walker and Brandon Mahan have each started three.

2019 AGAINST UCF

Brady Manek grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 13 points, including a critical 3-pointer late, and Oklahoma overcame poor shooting to hold off Central Florida 53-52.
Manek's 3 with 1:20 to play put the Sooners (8-3) up 53-45, but the Knights scored four unanswered points while the Sooners missed two shots and a 3-pointer at the buzzer by UCF's Dre Fuller Jr. missed.
Kristian Doolittle scored 12 points and added eight rebounds. Austin Reaves grabbed nine boards.
Jalen Hill is the only current Sooner that played against UCF and finished with five points and four rebounds.
