NORMAN – Oklahoma head women's golf coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell announced the addition of three signees to National Letters of Intent Saturday.

The Sooners add Savannah Barber, Raychel Nelke and Gracie Mayo, who will see the course for OU in 2022-23.

Barber, who attends Spring Creek Academy in Fort Worth, Texas, is ranked No. 79 by the American Junior Golf Association. She has tallied five top 10 finishes in AJGA play, including a runner-up finish at the 2021 AJGA Shreveport Junior Tournament.

"Savannah continues our influx of Texas players joining our program," said Drouin-Luttrell. "She has a great amount of tournament experience and many individual wins. I am excited that she decided to be a Sooner and look forward to seeing what legacy she will leave here in Norman."

Barber also teamed up to win the 6th U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship and finished tied for 33rd at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.

Mayo, attends the Millfield School, Somerset, and is ranked No. 59 in the European Golf Rankings. She earned a fifth at the 2021 R&A Girls Amateur Championship (75-76) and sixth at the 2021 Women's Amateur Championship (73-79). Mayo has seven career top 10 finishes.

"Gracie is the first golfer from Wales to come play at the University of Oklahoma," Drouin-Luttrell said. "She has a lot of international playing experience and numerous wins on her resume. I am excited to see what impact she will make as a Sooner."

Mayo was selected to the Wales National Team that competed at the European Team Championships and the Home Internationals.

Nelke attends Pocola High School and is ranked No. 113 by the AJGA. The Oklahoma native has tallied four top 10 finishes on the AJGA circuit and last played at the Accenture NW Arkansas Junior, finishing sixth (71-75-74).

"Raychel is another great golfer from the State of Oklahoma, I am excited she decided to take her talent to Norman and look forward to seeing what she will do as a Sooner," said Drouin-Luttrell. "We are getting a complete student-athlete in Raychel."

Nelke earned a third-place finish at the Westrock Coffee Junior Championship. The incoming freshman won the girls division of the 2020 Southern Hills Oklahoma Junior Masters.

Oklahoma concluded its fall slate with a fifth-place finish at Olde-Stone Intercollegiate and will open the spring campaign at Westbrook Invitational Feb. 27-28.
