With the 2020 season cut short, the OU women's golf team looks back on a strong spring campaign and how it can apply it to next season.

The Sooners had rattled off three consecutive top-five finishes to end their season, including a second-place placement at the Westbrook Invitational.

Oklahoma set a new program record at Westbrook by firing a 31-under par at the 54-hole event. The Sooners' total team score of 833 was the second lowest ever for the team.

OU shot a 274 in the second round at Westbrook, carding the second-best team round in program history.

The Sooners set a program-record for team scoring average in 2019-20 at 287.2, breaking the previous record by almost three strokes.

Oklahoma sunk 102 birdies across its final two events, leading both the Westbrook Invitational (58) and Hurricane Invitational (44).

Junior Kaitlin Milligan received invites to two prestigious events this spring. The Norman product was selected to represent Team USA in the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup in addition to accepting an invitation to play in the 2020 Augusta National Women's Amateur. She became the first Sooner woman to be named to the Palmer Cup squad and second to receive an invite to Augusta.
