FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Oklahoma women's basketball team is home to host Kansas State on Sunday in the annual Play4Kay game for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. OU is 5-5 in its last 10 Play4Kay games.

• OU will look to split the 2020 series the with Wildcats. Kansas State prevailed 92-74 in the Jan. 25 meeting in Manhattan. The Sooners leads the all-time series 40-29 but the teams have split the last 10 contests 5-5. OU holds a 21-10 advantage in Norman.

• With 112 made triples this year, Taylor Robertson is just three 3-pointers away from tying the OU single-season 3s record of 115 set by Aaryn Ellenberg in 2013 and four away from breaking it. Robertson is 11 away from breaking the Big 12 single-season record of 123, which was set in 2002 by Kansas State's Laurie Koehn. The sophomore is the first player in Big 12 history to hit 100 treys in back-to-back seasons after netting 105 last season.

• Robertson was also named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award's top 10. The award recognizes the top shooting guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. Robertson is averaging a team-high 20.1 points per game and a nation-leading 4.78 3-pointers per game. The list will be pared down to five finalists in March with the winner named at The College Basketball Awards presented by Wendy's in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, April 10, 2020, along with the other four members of the Women's Starting Five.

• Since 2012, head coach Sherri Coale has been a member of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of colleagues from the women's basketball world, distinguished physicians, respected business leaders, prominent media representatives, and allies in the fight against all cancers affecting women.

GAME 24 RECAP: OSU 73, OU 69

OU split the 2020 Bedlam series with Oklahoma State as OU fell to the Cowgirls 73-69 in Tuesday in Norman.

Oklahoma State's Vivian Gray scored 24 points and Natasha Mack had a double-double of 32 points and 18 rebounds as the Cowgirls outshot OU 50.8%-41.5% from the field.

Mandy Simpson collected 15 boards, marking the second time this season an OU player has had 15 or more after Williams pulled down 16 against Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 20.

A back-and-forth first half saw OU with a 32-31 lead headed into the locker room. The Sooners had a 13-0 run across the second and third quarters before Oklahoma State took a 50-47 lead at the end of third.  OSU narrowly outscored the Sooners 23-22 in the final quarter to take the game despite two late 3-pointers from Llanusa in the final eight seconds.

ROBERTSON NAMED TO ANN MEYERS DRYSDALE TOP 10

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that Oklahoma sophomore guard Taylor Robertson is one of the top 10 candidates for the 2020 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award. Named after the first player, male or female, named to an All-America Team in four straight college seasons, the annual award in its third year recognizes the top shooting guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.

Robertson is averaging a team-high 20.1 points per game and a nation-leading 4.78 3-pointers per game. The sharpshooter has knocked down 112 triples to rank second in OU single-season history as well as to become the first Big 12 player to hit 100 or more in back-to-back seasons. In March, five finalists will be presented to Ms. Meyers Drysdale and the Hall of Fame's selection committee. New to the award this season is Fan Voting presented by Dell Technologies. Starting Five Fan Voting presented by Dell Technologies will go live Friday, February 14 on hoophallawards.com.

The winner of the 2020 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award will be presented at The College Basketball Awards presented by Wendy's in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, April 10, 2020, along with the other four members of the Women's Starting Five. Additional awards being presented include the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard Award, the Cheryl Miller Small Forward Award, the Katrina McClain Power Forward Award, and the Lisa Leslie Center Award, in addition to the Men's Starting Five.

#PLAY4KAY

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was officially founded on December 3, 2007, from the vision of the organization's namesake Kay Yow, former North Carolina State head women's basketball coach. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.

Each year teams across the nation host a Play4Kay game to raise awareness and raise money to fight women's cancers as well as honor survivors. Prior to Sunday's game, OU will host a Survivors' Reception for those affected by cancers and their loved ones, and these women will be on the court for the national anthem with the team.

Additionally, five women were selected for the Our Star Experience, where they will meet the team and tour the facilities before a pre-game spa treatment in Norman.
