NORMAN – TheĀ Oklahoma women's basketball team willĀ host Oklahoma State Tuesday in the first edition of Bedlam this season. The game will tip at 7 p.m. CT inside Lloyd Noble Center.

ON THE AIR

Thursday's game will be televised on Fox Sports Oklahoma with Chad McKee and Brenda VanLengen on the call.

The contest will air on the Sooner Radio Network (KOKC 1420 AM in Oklahoma City; KREF 99.3 FM/1400 AM in Norman; TuneIn radio App) with Brian Brinkley calling the action.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOWĀ

  • OU is home again Tuesday to host Oklahoma State in the first Bedlam clash of the year at 7 p.m. Tuesday's contest will mark the 107th meeting between the programs in history, with OU leading the series 63-43. The Sooners hold a 34-14 advantage in Norman.
    Ā
  • The teams split last year's series with each winning on the road. 2020 was the first time since 1987 and just the second time in history that the road team prevailed in both Bedlam contests. The teams were slated to play each other in the first round of the 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball championship in March before the tournament was canceled due to concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic.
    Ā
  • Due to COVID-19 contact tracing efforts within the program, the Sooners have just six players available for the third game in a row: junior Taylor Robertson; sophomores Liz Scott and Gabby Gregory; and freshmen Heavenly Greer, Nevaeh Tot and Skylar Vann.
    Ā
  • The Sooners' super six logged OU's first win of the season Sunday as the squad took down Texas State 52-40. OU held the Bobcats to just 40 points on 27.0% shooting on the day while the Sooners' freshman trio shone. Nevaeh Tot had 12 points and five assists; Skylar Vann scored 11 to go with seven rebounds and three blocks; and Heavenly Greer collected a game-high 10 rebounds.
    Ā
  • Gregory (17.25 PPG) currently ranks sixth in scoring among Big 12 players this season. Her .467 (21-for-45) field goal percentage also ranks sixth in the league.

BEDLAM BY THE NUMBERSĀ

Tuesday's matchup will be the 107th meeting between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in history.

OU leads the all-time series 63-43 and holds a 34-14 advantage in Norman. The teams have split the last 10 meetings. Oklahoma State won the last contest between the teams on Feb. 11, 2020 in Norman 73-69.
Ā
OU and OSU split the 2020 regular season series with the road team winning each matchup. Last season marked the first time since 1987 that the road team won both Bedlam matchups. The teams have split the regular season series 11 times in history, but have just twice split the series with the road team prevailing in both contests (1987 and 2020).
