NORMAN – For the second straight year, the Oklahoma baseball team will play a pair of exhibition games during its fall workouts, head coach Skip Johnson announced. The Sooners will play at Arkansas on Friday, Sept. 20 and host UT Arlington on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Oklahoma and Arkansas will play at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark. The Sooners and Razorbacks have not met on the baseball field since 2012.
The Sooners will host UT Arlington on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Admission will be free to all fans.
The Sooners are in their second week of fall workouts, which run through mid-October. Oklahoma is entering its third season under the direction of Johnson, who has led the Sooners to a 71-48 mark in two years. OU returns 21 players from the 2019 squad and welcomes 21 newcomers for 2020.
All OU fall practices take place at L. Dale Mitchell Park and are open to the public.
