Summer Starts With Fast Break Club Tournament

NORMAN – Summer has officially started as the Oklahoma women's basketball program kicked off the 2019-20 season by hosting its annual Fast Break Club Golf Tournament on Tuesday at the Jimmie Austini OU Golf Club.

Participants met the 2019-20 Sooner squad, including OU's new freshman class of Gabby Gregory and Liz Scott. Supporters also had the opportunity to interact with OU's returners from last year's squad. The funds raised by this event will assist in the Sooners' upcoming foreign tours as well as other special projects for the women's basketball program.

The OU coaches, staff and players and title sponsor Barcas LLC hosted a day of golf. A total of 128 golfers made up 32 teams raising more than $45,000 for the women's basketball program.
