Red-White Intrasquad Set for Saturday

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma men's gymnastics team will hold its annual red-white intrasquad scrimmage at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday at the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center. Admission is free and open to the public.
Members of the 2020 Sooners will compete against each other on all six events, giving OU fans a glimpse of new routines that the team will use as it heads into the new season.
From their 2019 national runner-up team, the Sooners return sophomore and All-American on vault, Vitaliy Guimaraes, as well as MPSF champion on floor exercise, Gage Dyer. Seniors Grant Kell and Collyn Kellogg along with juniors Matt Wenske and Alexei Vernyi also look to provide solid scores for the Sooners in 2020.
Free pizza will be available for the first 100 fans in attendance and immediately following the scrimmage, fans can meet the student-athletes who will be available for autographs. Additionally, 2020 schedule cards will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
OU kicks off its 2020 campaign in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the annual Rocky Mountain Open on Jan. 11. The home opener is set for Feb. 8 against Iowa.
Season tickets for all three regular-season home meets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the University of Oklahoma Ticket Office at (405) 325-2424 or toll free at (800) 456-GoOU. Tickets can also be ordered online by visiting SoonerSports.com/tickets.
