NORMAN – For the first time since 2013, the Oklahoma women's tennis team will host the ITA Central Region Championships at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
Players from 24 teams in the Central Region will descend on Norman from Oct. 17-20. The tournament will feature an 80-player qualifying draw and a 128-player main draw. The qualifying doubles bracket will feature 20 teams, while 64 will compete in the main draw.

Kianah Motosono will all play in the singles main draw, while
Skyler Miller will compete in qualifying.
OU will be well-represented in the doubles main draw with four teams competing. Korashvili and Asghar, who captured the doubles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, will team up for the third time this fall, as will Romero and Capurro. Motosono and Podlinska and Miller and Corley will play together for the first time this year.
Regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists will qualify for the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships held Nov. 6 in Newport Beach, Calif.
