A Tip of the Visor to Coach Stoops

NORMAN ? After 18 seasons in which he won 10 Big 12 titles, a national championship and became OU's all-time wins leader with a career record of 190-48, Bob Stoops has certainly earned legend status.

Saturday, his statue will join those of Oklahoma's three other 100-win coaches -- Bennie Owen, Bud Wilkinson and Barry Switzer -- outside Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Stoops' statue will officially be dedicated on the lawn directly south of the Switzer Center Saturday at 10 a.m. He will also be recognized during the game.

In advance Saturday's festivities, Stoops' former players, many of whom will be in attendance this weekend, are taking to social media with tributes to their head coach.
