Sooners' Opening Meet of 2018 Canceled

NORMAN - Oklahoma's first scheduled meet of the 2018 season, a Saturday evening tilt at Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colo., has been canceled due to the government shutdown which went into effect Friday night.

The Sooners, coming off back-to-back-to-back national titles and ranked No. 1 in the preseason polls, will instead look to extend their NCAA all-sport leading 81-meet winning streak next Saturday at 6 p.m. CT, where the Sooners will take on Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The squad's first home meet will take place the following Saturday, Feb. 3, as OU hosts top-10 Nebraska and preseason-No. 2 Stanford.
