OU to Wear Alternates Saturday

Alternate Uniform

Originally introduced in 2014, OU's "Rough Rider" uniforms are inspired by the?rich heritage?of the state of Oklahoma and the Sooners' storied football history.

The wood grain represents the Sooner Schooner, the helmet and base layer are a nod to those worn during the Bud Wilkinson era, and the anthracite facemasks harken to the Rough Riders of the late 19th century.
