NORMAN, Okla. – University of Oklahoma head volleyball coach Santiago Restrepo announced on Friday that his team's annual “Crimson 'N Cream” match will be played at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 19. The event is open to the public with free admission at McCasland Field House. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
The match will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Sooners in action ahead of the season opener at home on Friday, August 25 against Seton Hall. The season opener is the first of three matches for Oklahoma in its home opener at the NIKE Invitational, which also sees Northwestern State and former conference foe Colorado come to town.
Season and single-match tickets can be purchased online at SoonerSports.com/Tickets or by calling the OU ticket office at (405) 325-2424 or toll free at (800) 456-GoOU. Single match tickets begin at $5 for youths and seniors. General admission is $8, while reserved seats are $12.
Reserved season tickets go for $70 each. General admission season tickets cost $60, while OU faculty, staff and letterwinner season tickets cost $40. Reserved seat season tickets holders receive the prime seats in McCasland in the chair-back section at mid-court across from the scorer's table.
The home Big 12 portion of the slate begins on September 20 against Kansas State. Oklahoma plays eight home matches against Big 12 opponents this season, including the 2017 edition of the Red River Showdown against Texas in Norman on October 21.
