NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma volleyball team hosted its annual Crimson 'N Cream Match at McCasland Field House on Saturday afternoon with the Crimson side winning in three sets. The match was the Sooners' final tune up ahead of next week's season opener, which will take place on Friday, August 25 against Seton Hall in Norman.

Crimson picked up the straight-sets win by scores of 25-13, 25-23 and 25-23. After a dominating first-set performance, Crimson came from behind in the second to take control of the match.

Junior outside hitter Madison Drescher (Southlake, Texas) powered the Crimson team to the win in a 25-kill effort to go with eight digs and four blocks. Freshman middle blocker Paige Anderson (McKinney, Texas) was second on the team with 17 kills on a match-leading .394 attack percentage and six blocks.

For the Cream team, junior outside hitter Alyssa Enneking (League City, Texas) led the way offensively with 13 kills and added nine digs. Freshman outside hitter Sarah Maras (Tulsa, Okla.) was second with eight kills and netted four blocks, including one solo.

Junior setter Audrey Alford (Norman, Okla.) ran the Crimson offense and junior setter Morgan Miller (Magnolia, Texas) managed the Cream offense. Alford dished out 36 assists and grabbed six digs, while Miller collected 25 dimes and added four digs.

Senior defensive specialist Emma Kelly (Houston, Texas) led all players with 16 digs from the Crimson back row. Crimson freshman libero Kira Morikawa (Honolulu, Hawaii) was second with 13. Sophomore outside hitter Erin Dibble (Frisco, Texas) picked up a team-high 10 digs for the Cream team, while redshirt-junior Rachel Manriquez (Edmond, Okla.) contributed nine.

The Sooners home and season opener on Friday marks the beginning of the NIKE Invitational. Oklahoma will be home for a pair of matches on Saturday, August 26 against Northwestern State at 12:30 p.m. and Colorado at 7 p.m.
