Hurricane Relief Collection to Be Held Saturday

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department and United Way will provide an opportunity Saturday for fans to contribute to hurricane relief efforts in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. Voluntary cash donations will be accepted at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium entry points prior to the OU-Iowa State football game.

United Way volunteers wearing United Way T-shirts and Oklahoma student-athletes wearing OU gear will be located outside each stadium gate starting at 9 a.m. The volunteers will be equipped with hurricane relief signs and donation buckets. Any donation amount is welcome.

A text-to-donate number will also be shared on the stadium's video boards prior to the game.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
