Single Match Tickets, Big 12 Poll Released

| On Thursday, the Big 12 released its coaches' preseason poll. Oklahoma, which finished sixth at 6-10 in conference play last year, is predicted to finish fifth with 38 points. Texas is the unanimous number-one with eight first-place votes for 64 points. Recently, Oklahoma has landed fifth in the preseason poll in 2013 when the Sooners went on to finish third with an 11-5 Big 12 record. |

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Oklahoma volleyball single match tickets are on sale beginning August 4 for the upcoming 2016 season. The Sooners play 13 home matches at McCasland Field House this season, including a tournament opening weekend with the first match of the year against intrastate rival Oral Roberts on Friday, August 26.
Single match tickets begin at $5 for youths and seniors. General admission is $8, while reserved seats are $12.
Tickets can be purchased online by heading to the volleyball page of SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU ticket office at (405) 325-2424 or toll free at (800) 456-GoOU. Single match tickets will go on sale August 4.
Reserved season tickets go for $70 each. General admission season tickets cost $50, while OU faculty, staff and letterwinner season tickets cost $40. Reserved seat season tickets holders receive the prime seats in McCasland in the chair-back section at mid-court across from the scorer's table.
The home Big 12 portion of the slate begins on September 28 with the Red River Showdown against Texas. Oklahoma plays seven home matches against Big 12 opponents this season. After hosting West Virginia for a pair of matches in 2015, the Sooners will be on the road for two against the Mountaineers this year.
Four matches have been designated as fan appreciation dates due to overlap with home football games on those dates. The first is September 10 against Lamar in the NIKE Invitational. In Big 12 play, home volleyball matches land on a home football Saturday October 15 vs. Kansas State, October 29 vs. TCU and November 12 vs. Texas Tech.
