This fall, the Oklahoma soccer team will welcome five freshmen into the Sooner family in Lauren Haivala, Madissen Lewis, Kristina O'Donnell, Ivanna Rivas and Madison Verge. SoonerSports.com will provide fans a quick introduction to these new Sooners, with O'Donnell, who hails from El Dorado Hills, Calif., up this week.

Why I Chose Oklahoma:

I chose Oklahoma because I wanted to be a part of Sooner Nation and I felt very welcome the first time I stepped onto campus. I wanted a school with a booming athletic environment and a prestigious education.

My favorite Part of OU/Norman so Far:

My favorite part about OU/Norman is the people. Everyone I have met is so nice and welcoming.

Something I'd like for Sooner Fans to Know About Me:

I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

My Biggest Strengths as a Soccer Player:

I think my biggest strength as a soccer player is going 1v1 down the sideline.
