Meet the Freshmen: Madissen Lewis

This fall, the Oklahoma soccer team will welcome five freshmen into the Sooner family in Lauren Haivala, Madissen Lewis, Kristina O'Donnell, Ivanna Rivas and Madison Verge. SoonerSports.com will provide fans a quick introduction to these new Sooners, with Lewis, who hails from McKinney, Texas, up this week.

Why I Chose Oklahoma:

I chose OU because of the culture! Everyone is so welcoming and the campus is beautiful. It has everything I could ever want in regards to academics and athletics.

My favorite Part of OU/Norman so Far:

My favorite part about Norman is the tight-knit community. I have met so many new people, and it has been so much fun.

Something I'd like for Sooner Fans to Know About Me:

I'd like the Sooner fans to know that one time I got two hamsters for Christmas, and I woke up the next morning and one ate the other.

My Biggest Strengths as a Soccer Player:

My biggest strength as a soccer player is my shot with both feet.

Some Areas I'd Like to Improve in as a Soccer Player:

My biggest weakness is taking on defenders 1v1.
