Mixon Suspended for Iowa State Game

NORMAN ? University of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon has been suspended for Thursday night's game at Iowa State for violating team rules.

"OU sets very high standards and they must be met by all of our student-athletes," said OU Head Coach Bob Stoops.?

Mixon said, "I regret that I did not respond appropriately to parking attendants and understand and accept the consequences."
