DeMarco Murray logged his third 100-yard rushing game of the year Sunday in the Tennessee Titans' 34-26 home loss to division rival Indianapolis. Murray carried the ball 25 times for 107 yards and a touchdown, and added 20 yards on three receptions. With 633 yards on the year, Murray ranks third in the NFL in rushing.
Kenny Stills registered a season-high 100 yards for Miami on five receptions, including a 66-yard bomb from quarterback Ryan Tannehill that helped push the suddenly revitalized Dolphins to a 28-25 win over division foe Buffalo.
Sam Bradford and the Minnesota Vikings suffered their first loss of the year, falling 21-10 in Philadelphia. Bradford threw for 244 yards and a touchdown on 24-of-41 passing and had one interception.
Filling in for an injured Ben Roethlisberger, Landry Jones made his first start of the year for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jones completed 29 of his 47 passes for 281 yards and added a 14-yard touchdown in a 27-16 loss to the AFC's first-place New England Patriots.
Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy returned from injury in a big way for Tampa Bay. McCoy logged three total tackles, a sack of San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the Buccaneers' 34-17 victory ... Tony Jefferson helped lead Arizona in a defensive war that saw the Cardinals tie the Seattle Seahawks. Jefferson logged three takedowns and was a force for a Cardinals defense that held Seattle QB Russell Wilson to 225 yards passing and limited the Seahawks to 52 rushing yards ... In the same contest, Arizona tight end Jermaine Gresham hauled in two passes from Carson Palmer for 15 total yards ...
In Oakland, Stacy McGee recorded a takedown in the Raiders' 33-16 win over Jacksonville. Oakland now sits in a tie for first with the defending champion Denver Broncos in the AFC West ... Running back Damien Williams scored a 12-yard touchdown in Miami's win over Buffalo. He rushed four times for a total of 16 yards ... In the same contest, Dolphins defensive tackle Jordan Phillips notched one tackle ... With Eddie Lacy on injured reserve, Green Bay fullback Aaron Ripkowski is helping shoulder some of the rushing load. Ripkowski carried three times for eight yards and caught an eight-yard pass from Aaron Rogers in the Packers' 26-10 win over rival Chicago. He also recovered a fumble ... Tress Way punted twice for Washington with a long of 59 yards and had one kick downed inside the 20 ... Trent Williams started at left tackle for Washington but left the game early with a knee injury. An MRI on Monday revealed that Williams did not suffer any structural damage. The team plans to monitor his status through the week ... Chris Chester started at right guard for Atlanta in the Falcons' 33-30 overtime loss to San Diego ... Corey Nelson made four tackles for Denver in the defending champ's win over Houston ... Cornerback Aaron Colvin made three total tackles for Jacksonville in the Jaguar's loss to Oakland ... Donald Stephenson started at right tackle for Denver against Houston ... Linebacker Dominique Alexander recorded an assist on a tackle in the Browns' loss to Cincinnati.
