Sooners Reschedule Match with Oral Roberts

NORMAN — The Oklahoma soccer team will travel to Tulsa, Okla., to take on Oral Roberts at 2 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The contest was rescheduled after the original meeting, held on Sept. 4, was canceled following a power outage at John Crain Field in Norman.
The first meeting was recorded as a “no contest” since it was in the 56th minute when it was called and did not reach the 70-minute mark as required by NCAA rules. At the time, the Sooners led 1-0 on a penalty kick from sophomore Madeline Brem. The match will be restarted and all statistics from the previous contest will be abandoned.
The Sooners start Big 12 play this weekend when they host No. 15 Texas Tech and Iowa State. The match with Texas Tech is slated for a 7 p.m. CT start on Friday, and OU will play Iowa State at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
