SOONER NOTEBOOK: WEEK FOUR

1. RECORD-SETTING SUNDAY
Setting records was the theme of the Sooners'  last contest. Against UTSA on Sunday, Sept. 6, OU rolled to an 8-1 victory, tying the school mark for most goals in a single contest. Those eight goals were made possible by a school-record-matching seven assists. Individually, junior Caren Nelson tied the individual single-game goal total with her hat trick, just the third in OU history. Additionally, sophomore Anna Crawford tallied three assists, a school best. The Sooners used a barrage of early scoring to build a 7-0 lead in the first 17 minutes of the match.

2. SOONERS BOAST DEPTH
A total of 22 Sooners have made an appearance in at least one match this season. In five contests, OU has recorded 16 goals from 11 different players. Notching multiple scores for the Sooners have been junior Caren Nelson and freshman Emily Parker with three each and junior Liz Keester with two. Additionally, six players have at least one assist.

3. THREE IN A ROW
After dropping their first two road contests in double overtime, the Sooners are riding a three-game winning streak with victories over in-state rival Oklahoma State, Little Rock and UTSA. The streak could potentially be four if not for a cancelation of OU's contest with Oral Roberts due to a power outage that occured in the 56th minute on Friday, Sept. 4. At the time, the Sooners were leading the Golden Eagles 1-0.

4. HOLDING 'EM SCORELESS
Oklahoma goalkeepers Kassidie Stade and Kaitlyn Fahrner recorded shutouts against Oklahoma State and Little Rock, respectively. The shutout streak nearly reached to three-straight games before UTSA's Savannah Struck scored in the 82nd minute of Sunday's contest, breaking a 262-minute scoreless stretch for OU opponents.

5. FOLLOW IT LIVE
Fans will be able to follow both of OU's contests at Santa Clara and Stanford this weekend.
