NORMAN, Okla. – University of Oklahoma volleyball tickets are on sale beginning July 23 for the upcoming 2015 season. For the second year in a row, reserved seating at McCasland Field House will be available to season ticket holders.
Reserved tickets once again go for $75 per season tickets, while a general admission season ticket is $50. The letterwinner, youth and senior citizen season tickets are priced at $40 each. Reserved seat season ticket holders receive the prime seats in McCasland in the chair-back section at mid-court across from the scorer's table.
Tickets can be purchased online by heading to the volleyball page of SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU ticket office at (405) 325-242 or toll free at (800) 456-GoOU. Single match tickets will go on sale August 5.
The Sooners play one of the nation's most competitive schedules this season, which includes a pair of tournaments at McCasland Field House. Oklahoma's home slate opens with NIKE Invitational (September 3-5) against Arkansas-Little Rock, Central Arkansas and North Texas followed by the Oklahoma Invitational (September 17-18) against nationally-ranked Pac-12 opponents USC and Washington as well as the Big Ten's Maryland.
The first Big 12 match of the season in Norman is slated for September 30 against Iowa State followed by Baylor (October 3). Kansas State (October 17) and Texas Tech (October 28) also visit McCasland during the first half of the league schedule. The final month of the regular season starts when Kansas comes to town on November 7 and the last eight days of the season sees the Sooners play hosts for three matches, including TCU (November 21), West Virginia (November 25) and rival Texas (November 28).
In each of the past two seasons, Oklahoma has set a new record for average attendance. Last season, the Sooners played in front of an average crowd of 942 fans and saw a crowd of 2,439 enter the field house for the Texas match. Since 2010, Oklahoma is 58-15 (.795) when playing at home and 97-39 (.713) over the last nine seasons.
