NORMAN — Make your plans to join the Sooners for the University of Oklahoma Spring Football Game presented by U.S. Fleet Tracking on Saturday, April 11 at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
New for 2015, fans will be able to purchase tailgating cuisine from some of the area's top food trucks as part of the Great Food Truck Tailgate. In addition to enjoying music and kids' amusement rides, the OU Spring Sale will feature a number of vendors selling a wide variety of apparel and Sooners' merchandise.
Fans can purchase $10 seats online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office by calling (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-4668 (online purchases subject to nominal convenience fee at time of purchase).
University of Oklahoma students will free admission to the game by showing a current OU ID at the gate. OU Kids Club members will also receive complimentary admission.
All seating is general admission for the Spring Game. All normal game entry policies remain in place for the Spring Game relative to permitted items. Campus parking lots will be open and free of charge for fans. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The day's festivities begin at 8 a.m. with the annual OU Spring Sale in McCasland Fieldhouse with vendors including the OU Bookstore, the OU Equipment Room, Balfour, the Big Red Shop and Bedlam Sports.

NEW for 2015 – The Great Food Truck Tailgate
Eleven local top food trucks and vendors are confirmed to participate in the inaugural Great Food Truck Tailgate. Vendors will begin serving at 10 a.m. in the Brooks parking lot, directly east of the McCasland Fieldhouse parking lot. A live DJ will be providing musical entertainment, as well.
Sooner Jr. Kids Zone
At 10 a.m. the Sooner Jr. Kids Zone opens in the McCasland Fieldhouse parking lot with free kids' carnival rides scheduled to include: Bear Affair, The Hurricane, Castlemania, Elephants and Boat Ride. Sooner Jr. will have interactive games throughout the morning promoting F.A.N.S. – Fitness Fun, Academics, Nutrition and Sportsmanship. The Sooner Schooner will be on display for pictures with Boomer and Sooner.
The OU Spring Game will also salute the Sooner Jr. program with partnering elementary schools across the State. Students in selected school districts who received a flyer at school can redeem it for complimentary admission for a themselves and up to three guests. Students can present this flyer at Gate 5 between 12:30 p.m. and kickoff on game day.
OU Spring Game Scoring System
Keeping track of the score on Saturday will be similar to last year. Points will be determined by the color of the numeral of the quarterback.
If the quarterback is wearing a jersey with a RED number, offensive points go to the RED team and a defensive score would be credited to the WHITE team.
If the quarterback is wearing a jersey with a WHITE number, offensive points go to the WHITE team and a defensive score would be credited to the RED team.

The Sooner Radio Network pregame show provides 30 minutes of coverage before Toby Rowland, Merv Johnson and Teddy Lehman call the action, along with sideline reports from Chris Plank.
2 p.m.
Live television coverage of the OU Spring Game presented by U.S. Fleet Tracking features Ron Thulin (play-by-play), Dave Lapham (analyst) and Chad McKee (sideline reporter) calling the action. The game will be shown on FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Oklahoma and FOX Sports New Orleans, which combined reach over 10 million cable and satellite television homes in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. The game will also be broadcast nationally on FOX College Sports Central.
For the first time, OU Athletics and Tyler Media are pleased to provide a Spanish television broadcast of the OU Spring Game.
The Spanish broadcast will air at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 on Telemundo affiliates in Oklahoma City (KUTU channel 25.2 – Cox channel 702) and in Tulsa (KTUZ channel 30 – Cox channel 5). Francisco X. Rivera and Roger Valdivieso will call the action. The Spanish broadcast will also be archived on SoonerSports.tv.
