Redshirt sophomore Peyton Little hit double-digits by halftime, scoring 10 in the first 20 minutes. Little finished the contest with 15 points. It is her 22nd double-figure point performance of the season and the 11th in the last 12 contests.
The Sooners hit 11-of-12 from the charity stripe in the opening 20 minutes. The 11 free throws ties the fourth most free throw made in the first half by Oklahoma this season. They would finish the game hitting 23-of-30.
Redshirt junior Kaylon Williams recorded her sixth double-double of the season and the third in the last seven games. She finished with a team-high 14 points and added 10 boards.
Redshirt sophomore Maddie Manning played a season-high 30 minutes. The guard, who missed the last two seasons with season-ending knee injuries, finished with 11 points and a season-tying high six rebounds.
After closing out the regular season being outrebounded by Oklahoma State 52-30, the Sooners won the battle of the boards Saturday against West Virginia 40-32. Kaylon Williams led eight Oklahoma players in rebounding with 10, seven of which were offensive.
Oklahoma and West Virginia split the regular season series. The Sooners have now won both meetings against the Mountaineers in the Big 12 Championship. As the No. 3 seed in the 2013 Big 12 Championship, OU defeated the No. 6 seed WVU 66-65 in the second round.
A 42.9 percent free throw shooter coming into the contest, freshman Vionise Pierre-Louis sank a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe, including all four in the second half.
