Williams scored a team-leading 20 points for the second consecutive game. She pulled in five rebounds and recorded a block and a steal. Williams scored 18 of her points in the Sooners' 47-point second half.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Kaylon Williams scored 18 of her 20 points in the second half to help Oklahoma defeat Oklahoma State 66-56 on Monday night.

Williams, a junior forward, made 8 of 12 shots and grabbed five rebounds for the Sooners (19-10, 13-5 Big 12), who bounced back from a surprising loss to last-place Kansas last Saturday. Peyton Little added 16 points for Oklahoma, which swept the regular-season series. The Sooners already were locked into the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

Senior Liz Donohoe scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds before fouling out in her final home game, and Roshunda Johnson added 14 points for Oklahoma State (19-10, 9-9). Brittney Martin, the team's scoring leader with 14 points per game, finished with 2 points on 0-of-11 shooting.

Powered by one of the Big 12's best defensive squads, Oklahoma State led 20-19 at halftime. Donohoe scored nine points on 3-of-8 shooting in the first half, but her teammates made just 2 of 22. Oklahoma State shot 18 percent before the break for its worst shooting half of the season.

Oklahoma shot just 22 percent in the first half and posted its lowest-scoring half of the season.

Two 3-pointers by Little and two layups by Williams powered a 10-2 run as the Sooners took a 36-30 lead early in the second half and maintained control the rest of the way. The Sooner bench was one reason why. Sophomore T'ona Edwards scored five points down the stretch including three made  free throws. Freshman Vionise Pierre-Louis added five points of her own, two of which came on a big offensive rebound and put back with 59 seconds remaining that put OU up 62-51.

The Sooners will be back in action this weekend as the league heads to Dallas for the Big 12 Tournament begining Friday.
