FREEPORT, Bahamas – No. 21 Oklahoma women's basketball picked up its fourth straight victory and scored 29 points in the fourth quarter on Saturday to defeat Boston College, 76-61, in the final game of the 2015 Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas.

The Sooners (5-1) tied a season-high with 29 points in the fourth quarter as four players finished in double figures. Redshirt junior guard Peyton Little scored a game-high 17 points and finished with five assists to lead the Sooners, earning Reef Division MVP honors.

Sophomore center Vionise Pierre-Louis scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half and recorded a team-high nine rebounds to earn all-tournament honors along with senior forward Kaylon Williams, who added in 13 points on 6 of 7 shooting. Williams also corralled eight rebounds and two steals. Gabbi Ortiz also recorded 10 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Sooners.

“Everyone settled down and relaxed in the fourth quarter,” head coach Sherri Coale said following her 425th win at Oklahoma. “We got so many good looks off of penetration and we stopped thinking as much. We started to go to the spots we were supposed to go to and our post players did a fantastic job finishing at the rim.”

The Sooners outscored BC (5-1) in the paint, 34-12, and finished with 22 points off of 17 BC turnovers. OU also hit a season-high 24 free throws on 34 attempts. The Sooners finished the game out-rebounding BC, 38-29 and tallied 21 assists in the win.

After falling down early in the first quarter to the Eagles, the Sooners used a 10-0 run to jump out to a 12-7 lead. The Eagles used a 5-0 run of their own to tie the game at 12-12 after one quarter. OU closed the first half on a 7-0 run thanks to back-to-back baskets from LaNesia Williams, but a jumper at the buzzer by Boston College tied the game at 27-27 at halftime.

Down one point late in the third quarter, Edwards forced a steal and found Little in transition to put OU back on top with less than a minute to go. Pierre-Louis knocked down a floater at the buzzer to give OU a 47-44 advantage heading into the final period where the Sooners hit 8 of 15 (.533) shots from the floor to close out the game.

Emily Hughes scored a team-high 15 points, hitting five 3-pointers, and corralled eight rebounds for the Eagles. Emilee Daley added in 12 points for Boston College.

The Sooners finished the 2015 Junkanoo Jam with a 2-0 record to win the Reef Division title.

OU returns home to the Lloyd Noble Center on Wednesday to take on Little Rock at 7 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Oklahoma/Fox Sports Southwest +/Fox College Sports Central.
