NORMAN – Behind a dominant performance from redshirt senior Kaylon Williams, the No. 21/22 Oklahoma women's basketball team downed Little Rock, 65-52, on Wednesday night inside Lloyd Noble Center for its 750th win in program history.

Williams tallied season highs in both points and rebounds with 21 and 15, respectively, good for the 10th double-double of her career. The Midwest City, Okla., native went 9 of 16 from the field in the contest.

Nine of Williams' points came in the first quarter and she nearly had a double-double at halftime with 11 points and nine rebounds. Williams has now scored in double figures 14 times in the Sooners' last 15 games dating back to last season.

After falling behind by five points in the second quarter, the Sooners (6-1) closed the first half on a 7-0 run over the last 2:14 to take a 31-29 lead over Little Rock (2-3) into the locker room. OU led the rest of the way, outscoring the Trojans 14-8 in the third quarter and 20-15 in the fourth.

Also finishing in double digits for the Sooners were Peyton Little and sophomore Gabbi Ortiz, who recorded 11 points and 10 points, respectively. Little grabbed three boards and added three steals, while Ortiz had six rebounds and four assists.

The Sooners shot 47 percent from the field (25 of 53), 33 percent from long distance (4 of 12) and 65 percent (11 of 17) from the free throw line. OU's defense held the Trojans to 23 percent shooting (22 of 68) and outrebounded them by a 44 to 34 clip.

Little Rock was led in scoring and rebounding by Shanity James with 21 points and eight boards. Sharde' Collins added 13 points, and Monique Townson contributed six rebounds, six assists and five steals.

The Sooners return to action on Sunday, Dec. 6, as they hit the road to face Washington. The game is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. CT and will air on the Pac-12 Network.
