Colvin Makes Plays in London Win

Second-year cornerback Aaron Colvin made plays all over the field Sunday as Jacksonville defeated Buffalo, 34-31, in London.

Early in the second quarter with the Jaguars leading 7-3, Colvin came on a corner blitz, sacked Buffalo quarterback E.J. Manuel and forced a fumble. Chris Clemons scooped up the loose ball and ran it in from six yards out to extend the lead to 14-3.

Colvin's other big play came late in the fourth quarter. Facing a 4th-and-2 at their own 40-yard line, Manuel tried to complete a pass to Robert Woods but Colvin broke it up and gave the ball back to Jacksonville. Three kneels later and the Jaguars had the win.

On the day, Colvin had six tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and a pass breakup.

In the loss for Buffalo, Gabe Ikard played for the first time since making his NFL debut in Week 4.

Jefferson Seals Cardinals' Win

Tony Jefferson's late-game interception sealed Arizona's 26-18 win over Baltimore Monday night.

The Cardinals had an eight-point lead, but the Ravens took over with 1:53 to play at their own 24 and marched down to the Arizona 9-yard line with 13 seconds to play. Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco targeted his tight end Crockett Gilmore but the pass hung in the air and Jefferson made an over-the-shoulder catch to seal the win.

It was his second interception of the season and the second of his career.

Also for Arizona, tight end Jermaine Gresham set season highs in both receptions (4) and receiving yards (62) as the Cardinals improved to 5-2.

Jones Makes First NFL Start

One week after coming off the bench to lead Pittsburgh to a surprising victory, Landry Jones made the first start of his career in a 23-13 loss to Kansas City.

Jones threw for 209 yards and a touchdown on 16-29 passing, but he also lost a fumble and threw two interceptions. Jones' touchdown came on 19-yard pass to Martavis Bryant in the third quarter, while he also hit Antonio Brown on a 21-yard completion in the first quarter and gains of 41 yards and 26 yards in the third.

On the winning side, defensive back Jamell Fleming made two tackles on special teams, offensive tackle Donald Stephenson saw playing time and James Winchester handled snaps on kicks.

Trio Lands on Practice Squads

After being waived last week by Chicago, defensive back Demontre Hurst is back with the team. He cleared waivers and was placed on the team's practice squad. He has played in three games for the Bears this season but has not recorded any stats.

Rookie defensive lineman Chuka Ndulue was signed last week to San Diego's practice squad. Ndulue started the season on Denver's practice squad after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent but was released on Sept. 22.

Defensive tackle Casey Walker joined his third team of the season, landing on Dallas' practice squad. He was released by Baltimore in August and signed with New England less than two weeks later, but was released by the Patriots in early September.
