NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma volleyball team's road match at West Virginia University scheduled for Saturday, October 24 at 2:30 pm CT has been cancelled. The game will be made up on Tuesday, November 24 in Norman. The Sooners will host the Mountaineers on back-to-back days at 7:00 pm. The two teams will play game two in its originally scheduled slot at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25.
Due to inclement weather heading into Texas, Oklahoma's connecting flight in Dallas was cancelled on Friday and the team could not get to Morgantown in time for Saturday's match.
In 2016, the Sooners will return the favor to the Mountaineers and play back-to-back road matches at West Virginia.
Admission to the November 24 match will be free. It will be the second of four home matches for Oklahoma over a seven-day stretch. The Sooners host TCU on Saturday, November 21 to open the homestand and finish it against Texas on Friday, November 27 in the regular season finale.
