Murray Continues 100-Yard Game Streak

Three games into the season and DeMarco Murray has tallied at least 100 yards rushing in each contest, including his latest effort against the Rams in which he ran for 100 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.

After rushing for 118 yards in the season opener and 167 yards in Week Two, Murray currently leads the NFL in rushing yards (385), attempts (75), rushing yards per game (128.3), rushing touchdowns (3), rushes for first down (22) and runs of 20+ yards (3).

Saturday's performance, which came in a 34-31 comeback win over the Rams, was the 10th time in Murray's career that he passed the century mark and fifth time in the past eight games. In addition, he posted back-to-back-to-back 100-yard games for the first time in his career.

According to DallasCowboys.com, Murray became the 10th player in team history to go over the 3,000 yard mark for a career, and he now has 3,066 rushing yards. In addition, Murray joined Tony Dorsett and Emmitt Smith as the only players in Dallas history to rush for at least 100 yards in each of the team's first three games.

Also in the contest, James Hanna started at tight end for Dallas, while Davin Joseph was the starting right guard for St. Louis.

Hurst Back with Bears

Less than a week after re-signing with the team, DeMontre Hurst assisted on a tackle in kickoff coverage for the Chicago Bears in their 27-19 win over the New York Jets Monday night.

Hurst made the team roster initially out of training camp, but he was released on Sept. 8 due to injuries elsewhere on the team. Due to more recent injuries to the Bears' secondary, Hurst was re-signed on Sept. 18.

Opposing Hurst on Monday night was former Sooners teammate Jalen Saunders, who fumbled on his only punt return try for the Jets.
