- Oklahoma has won 20 straight games against Iowa State, the third-longest active streak for OU over one opponent behind a 28-game streak against Wichita State and 24-game run versus North Texas.
- OU's last five wins against Iowa State have all come in five innings with a combined score of 68-3.
- The Sooners are now 67-28 all-time against Iowa State, the second-most wins against another program in OU history.
- OU has won 81 straight run-rule games since the last time they suffered a run-rule loss to Texas on March 28, 2009. Saturday's was the 61st to come in five innings. Seven of those 81 wins have come against Iowa State, the most of any team in the streak.
- The 14-2 win marked the 12th time OU scored at least 10 runs this season. Coupled with a 10-0 win yesterday, OU has posted back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts for the second time this year.
- For the series, sophomore Kady Self is now 6-6 with three home runs, six runs scored, seven RBI and two walks. She was 3-3 Saturday with a home run, three runs scored, two RBI and a walk.
- Sophomore Whitney Ellis went 4-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. The four hits were a career high and tied Shelby Pendley (2/28 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff) and Destinee Martinez (2/20 vs. Oregon State) for the most by a Sooner this season.
- Freshman Macey Hatfield made the first start of her OU career. She finished 3-3 to set a career high in hits, tied a personal best with two runs scored and drove in the first three runs of her career.
- Senior Destinee Martinez was 1-4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a walk. She now has 139 runs scored in her career to move into ninth on OU's career list and 236 hits to tie Erin Evans for 10th all-time at Oklahoma.
- Sophomore Leslie Miller moved to 4-0 on the season and 5-0 in her career by getting the win.
- Junior Jessica Vest had a season-high two runs batted in.
- Junior Shelby Pendley was 0-4 Saturday, snapping a career-long 14-game hitting streak.
