NORMAN, Okla. – The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl announced Sunday that defensive end Chuka Ndulue and cornerback Julian Wilson have accepted invitations to play in the contest.
The 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will be played on Saturday, January 17 at StubHub Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised live on ESPN2. ESPNU will also air live broadcasts from practices on Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15.
Ndulue was an All-Big 12 Second Team selection by the conference's coaches this season. The senior defensive end has started every game for the Sooners in 2014 and is part of an Oklahoma defense that ranks second in the Big 12, permitting 109.6 rushing yards per game. The Dallas Jesuit Prep High School alum leads all OU defensive linemen with 45 tackles (20 solo). He also has 5.0 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups in 2014. In 44 career games (31 starts) for Oklahoma, he has registered 136 tackles (64 solo), 17 TFLs and 12.0 sacks.
Wilson has seen action in 11 games (nine starts) at cornerback in 2013. He has 39 tackles (32 solo) on the season and is tied for the team lead with seven pass breakups. He returned an interception for 100-yard touchdown against Tennessee on Sept. 13 and set a career-high with seven tackles vs. Baylor of Nov. 8. The Oklahoma City native has seen action at a variety of spots in the secondary for the Sooners, playing in 48 career games (22 starts) and producing 99 tackles (76 solo), 6.5 TFLs, four interceptions and 15 pass breakups.
