• Running back Samaje Perine set the NCAA all-time FBS record for rushing yards in a single game, surpassing Melvin Gordon's (Wisconsin) 408 rushing yards set against Nebraska (11/15/14).

• The start of the game was delayed an hour and a half due to thunderstorms.

• Oklahoma rushed for 510 yards, matching its season high and the highest rushing total under Bob Stoops. The previous mark came at Iowa State (11/1).

• OU has now won 39 straight games when surpassing the 200-yard rushing mark. The Sooners are 67-1 under Stoops when hitting that plateau.

• After scoring 44 points today, OU is now 86-1 when scoring 40 or more points during the Stoops' era.

• The seven points allowed are tied for the lowest the Sooners have allowed all season, which came at Tulsa (9/6) in a 52-7 victory.

• The Sooners are 25-1 in its last 26 games vs. unranked foes and have won their last 13 home games against unranked Big 12 foes.

• Oklahoma led 24-0 at halftime. The Sooners have won 48 straight games when leading at the break (the longest active streak in the country) and are 147-9 all-time under Stoops in such situations.

• The 24-0 halftime lead is OU's biggest in a Big 12 games since leading Kansas 38-0 (10/20/12).

• Today was the second time this season OU has shut out an opponent in the first half, posting a 31-0 lead over Tulsa (9/6).

SAMAJE PERINE

• Running back Samaje Perine rushed for 427 yards, setting the NCAA all-time FBS record for rushing yards in a single game, surpassing Melvin Gordon's (Wisconsin) 408 rushing yards set against Nebraska (11/15/14).

• Perine ran for 61 yards in the first quarter, 161 in the second, 156 in the third and 49 in the fourth.

• He surpassed the OU school record of 294 yards set by Greg Pruitt against Kansas State on 10/23/71 between the second and third quarters combined (317). Pruitt's mark had stood for 43 years.

• Perine's 427 rushing yards broke the NCAA freshman single game rushing record previously set by Marshall Faulk (San Diego State), which was 386 yards vs. Pacific (9/14/91).

• Perine broke the Big 12 all-time rushing record for a single game, which was previously held by Iowa State's Troy Davis (378 yards) against Missouri (9/28/96).

• Perine's 427-yard performance ranks seventh all-time in NCAA history for all divisions and levels.

• Perine scored five rushing TDs on runs of 49, 33, 34, 66 and 27 yards to total 19 on the season, becoming OU's leader for TDs in a season by a freshman, surpassing Adrian Peterson (15) in 2004. The 19 rushing touchdowns are seventh most in a season in OU history.

• Perine became the fifth player in OU history to record at least five rushing TDs in a single game. The last player to do it was DeMarco Murray vs. North Texas (9/1/07).

• Perine's 222 first half rushing yards were the most of any Sooner in a single half in program history, breaking the previous record of 210 yards set by Adrian Peterson vs. Oklahoma State (11/26/05).

• Perine's 427 rushing yards give him 1,428 for the season, moving him into second place past De'Mond Parker (1,184), Marcus Dupree (1,144) and Spencer Tillman (1,047) on OU's freshman rushing list.

• After the historic performance, Perine now ranks eighth in OU program history for most rushing yards in a single season.

• Perine's game marks the third time this season he has rushed for over 200 yards and the fourth time he has rushed for over 100 yards in a game. Perine is just the second freshman in OU history to record three 200-yard rushing performances, tying Adrian Peterson.

• Perine's 66-yard TD run marks the longest rush of his career.

• Perine has also recorded a career-high 19 receiving yards, all of which came on one play.

AARON RIPKOWSKI

• Fullback Aaron Ripkowski caught a career-long nine yard pass on a 3rd-and-8. Of his nine touches this year, six have gone for either a first down or touchdown.

ERIK STRIKER

• Linebacker Eric Striker recovered his second fumble of the season and third of his career.

• Striker recorded 0.5 sacks, giving him 13.5 for his career and moving him into a tie for second on OU's all-time sacks by a linebacker chart. Striker is just 0.5 sacks behind Rock Calmus (14.0), OU's all-time leader.

AHMAD THOMAS

• Safety Ahmad Thomas intercepted the first pass of his career.

JORDAN PHILLIPS

• Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips posted four tackles including a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss. 

DEVANTE BOND 

• Linebacker Devante Bond made the first start of his career and recorded six tackles, marking a career high.

MICHAEL HUNNICUTT

• Kicker Michael Hunnicutt's season-high 14 points give him 445 career points, moving him into sixth place past Kyle Brotzman (439; Boise State) and Art Carmody (433; Louisville) on the NCAA FBS all-time scoring list. He is third all-time among kickers.
