Gresham Records First Multi-Touchdown Game of Career
Fifth-year veteran tight end Jermaine Gresham caught just two passes in Cincinnati's 27-10 win over New Orleans, but both receptions went for touchdowns as Gresham enjoyed the first multi-touchdown game of his career.
The Bengals trailed the Saints 3-0 in the first quarter and faced a 3rd-and-8 from the New Orleans 12-yard line. Gresham caught a pass from Andy Dalton inside the five-yard line for a first down, but fought to cross the goal line. The ball was knocked out as Gresham reached for the goal line, but in the ensuing scrum, he was able to fall on the loose ball for the score.
Midway through the third quarter, the Bengals added to their 13-3 lead when Gresham scored on a touchdown from one yard out.
Gresham wasn't the only former Sooner to find the end zone in Week 11, however. In fact, he wasn't the only former Sooner to do so in this very game.
New Orleans wide receiver Kenny Stills caught a nine-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to make it 20-10, but the Saints could not get any closer.
Also for the Saints, linebacker Curtis Lofton had a team-high 11 tackles.
