NORMAN, Okla. -- Following a cancellation last Friday night due to inclement weather, the Oklahoma soccer team's match against Big 12 foe Baylor has been rescheduled to this weekend. The contest will now take place on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be held at John Crain Field in the OU Soccer Complex and will be FREE to fans in attendance.
Because Friday's match did not reach 70 minutes of play, the match will be restarted and all statistics from the previous contest will be abandoned.
The two teams played 45 minutes on Friday night before entering a weather delay. Prior to the delay, Oklahoma led Baylor 1-0 off a goal from Madeline Brem.
The Sooners will continue Big 12 play on Friday night in Stillwater, playing the second match in the Bedlam series against Oklahoma State. The Sooners lead the series 1-0 after a 2-1 win in Norman on Aug. 22.
