CB Zack Sanchez registered his first career INT at KSU (11/23/13) returning it for a 74-yard TD. Dating back to that contest, Sanchez owns seven INTs over that nine-game span, including a 43-yard return TD vs. Texas (10/11) when he also tied a career high with eight tackles. Sanchez has seven career INTs with two TDs, including a Big 12-best five INTs in 2014.
QB Trevor Knight owns a 10-1 record as starter, including a 41-31 win at KSU (11/23/13) when he went 14-20 for 171 yards with one TD. He also ran 14 times for 82 yards with another TD.
Bob Stoops played at Iowa ('79-82) under Hayden Fry, whose staff included current Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder as offensive coordinator.
