The Sooners have taken a 38-24 lead thanks to an incredible scramble and pass from Trevor Knight, and defense that has sacked AJ McCarron repeatedly in the second half.
The Sooners and tied and locked into a Sugar Bowl battle. Alabama has the only score so far of the third quarter. Jerry Montgomery's defensive line has helped that cause by pressuring McCarron.
Oklahoma has headed to the locker room for halftime, leading Alabama by a pair of touchdowns here at the Superdome in New Orleans in the 80th Allstate Sugar Bowl.

After a midday break, the Sooners are down the final stretch in pregame preparation for the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The team has reconvened for pregame meal.
The Sooners have departed walk through and are back at the hotel for a snack, meetings, then some down time before pregame meal at 3:30.

The Sooners have departed the team hotel for the first time today, heading out to walk through at the Superdome. They were greeting by hundreds of citizens of Sooner Nation.
The team is attending chapel with Manley Miller, the team chaplain for the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA.
The Sooners had a 10:15 a.m. wake up and the first event of the day is brunch. Late kick-offs provide an opportunity to sleep in, fuel up, attend chapel, and get motivated for the game with plenty of time to spare.
