NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma will be featured on the ESPN family of networks Friday as the ESPN DIRECTV Mobile Studio wraps up its two-week tour of 10 schools with a stop in Norman. As part of the tour, College Football Live hosted by Chris Cotter and Robert Smith will originate live from Headington Hall at 4 p.m. Central on ESPNU.

In addition to College Football Live, there will be various live interviews and segments on Sportscenter throughout the day beginning during the 8 a.m. CT hour. The ESPN cameras will take a behind-the-scenes look at the Sooners' preseason camp and will sit down with head coach Bob Stoops and other guests. The ESPN DIRECTV Mobile Studio tour concludes at Oklahoma after stops this week at Louisville, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Stanford.

A two-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, Smith began his broadcast career with ESPN in 2005. Smith regularly contributes to College Football Live and Football Friday as an analyst and occasionally appears on Outside the Lines.

Smith starred as a running back at Ohio State from 1990-92 and for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings from 1993-2000. He finished his career with the Vikings with 32 touchdowns and 6,818 rushing yards, the highest yardage tally in franchise history that was subsequently broken by former OU All-American Adrian Peterson.

Cotter joined ESPN in January 2012 as a studio anchor, appearing on SportsCenter and in other roles.

SoonerSports.com will have exclusive behind-the-scenes video, photos and interviews from ESPN's visit.

Friday marks the second time in the last two weeks that a national media outlet has been on OU's campus as SiriusXM Radio broadcasted from the Switzer Center on Aug. 7.
