2009 NCAA® Baseball Norman Regional

The University of Oklahoma hosts the 2009 NCAA Baseball Norman Regional at L. Dale Mitchell Park in Norman. The regional format is a double-elimination tournament with two games played each day from Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31. A seventh game will be played on Monday, June 1, if necessary.

OU was named a No. 7 national seed and the No. 1 seed in the Norman Regional. The Sooners are joined by No. 2 Arkansas, No. 3 Washington State and No. 4 Wichita State. The winner of the Norman Regional advances to meet the winner of the Tallahassee Regional in NCAA Super Regional action. The four teams at Tallahassee are Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State and Marist.

Prices are $90 for reserved box seat all-session tickets, $60 for general admission all-session tickets and $40 for outfield only all-session tickets. Each game of the regional is considered one session and a ticket is required for each session. Children under two years of age are admitted free. OU students must purchase an adult ticket for this event as it is an NCAA-sponsored tournament.

If tickets remain, single session tickets will go on sale Friday, May 29 at Mitchell Park at least 90 minutes prior to the first scheduled game. Single session tickets are $20 for reserved box seats, $10 for general admission and $7 for outfield/standing room only.
